Subliminal Barriers

Jack Clough grew up in a small town.   A town he knew was safe, where everyone was always willing to help their neighbors, until the day his mother disappeared.  There was no trace of her; no one seemed to know anything.
Soon after Jack’s mother disappeared, Jack’s best friend was hurt in a freak incident.  Jack knew it had something to do with him, but he could not remember anything from that day.  Years later, no one in town will talk about it, including his family.  He is haunted by strange dreams, debilitating migraines, and thoughts that he is not sure are his.  Even with therapy, medication, and anger management he is confused and angry.
Bullies attack his best friend beginning a chain of events that brings him into conflict with himself, the government, werewolves, and the truth.  Jack battles to figure what he is, where his mother went, and if he is as crazy as everyone says he is.
